Everyone is invited to meet with the deacons and pastors for a time of prayer each Sunday at 9:15 a.m.
Prayer requests – A list of prayer requests will appear on the video screens at the end of the worship service. To submit a prayer request, please give a brief written request to the person at the soundboard before the Sunday morning service begins.

Contemporary service – At 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 29, there will be a contemporary worship service in the fellowship hall; this service will feature contemporary music and a less formal atmosphere than the traditional service, which will begin in the sanctuary at 10:50 a.m. as usual. Bro. Charles Breithaupt will be bringing the message, and Chudy Omelogu will lead the music for the contemporary service.
Special evening service – On March 29, we plan to meet in the gym for our evening service, and observe the Lord’s Supper and the Passover meal.

Women’s renewal conference – Saturday, March 28, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Lake Highlands Baptist Church, Sulphur Springs, TX. Featured will be Laura Marsh Kanaykinae , who will speak on “Serving God in Times Like These.” The cost of the conference is $15.00 before March 18. After that date, registration will be $20.00. The price includes a catered lunch.

Mission trip luncheon – Following the morning worship service on March 22, there will be a fund-raising luncheon to benefit the summer 2015 mission trip; donations will be accepted. The menu will include pork loin and split chicken breast with potato casserole, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, salad, and a vegetable.

Daylight-saving time begins – Daylight-saving time begins at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 8, so remember to set your clocks ahead one hour.
Old-fashioned Day – On March 8, everyone is invited to wear old-fashioned clothes and join us for a meal after the morning worship service. The church will furnish fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and gravy; members are asked to bring salads, vegetables, and desserts. The evening worship service and auxiliaries are cancelled on this day. After the meal, our musical guests for the day, the Mercy Song trio, will sing during a song service at 1:15 p.m.
